Condesign is seeking a Materials Science Engineer for a Senior position at one of our customer in the automotive industry. The position requires +5 years relevant experience within steel and metallurgy investigations, like failure and root cause analysis of components and structures.
Tasks included
You will drive materials technology development and application from research/early phases to product maintenance is also part of the job, but main job tasks will be within quality work.
You need to be able to provide material data and/or manufacturing specifications to the design department for fulfillment of business targets & requirements to internal stakeholder.
You will develop and share acquired competence and give technical advice. Should show drive and be able to manage networking across the organization, project lead as well as influencing the work in other sites
Qualifications
The consultant should have several years of experience from analysis work and lab work within the area of metallic materials with a focus on steel and surface technology. It is required that she or he is proficient of equipment like SEM, optical microscopy, sample preparation, etching and hardness measurement. The consultant can show that she or he has experience of advance failure analysis.
